Pecan Street Festival
6th Street, Downtown
The Pecan Street Festival is a free two-day arts festival held twice yearly in downtown Austin’s Sixth Street Historic District. Taking place the first Saturday & Sunday in May and the last Saturday & Sunday in September, the juried festival attracts hundreds of local and national artisans offering original handcrafted creations in a variety of mediums, from metal, wood, fiber, clay, leather, glass and stone to repurposed materials of all kinds.
Farm To Plate
This sip-and-stroll event features delicious bites from over 30 of the best Austin chefs who are dedicated to sourcing local and sustainable food from our area farmers. At Farm to Plate, you get a taste of the best cuisine Austin has to offer on the beautiful indoor/outdoor grounds of Barr Mansion. 100% of proceeds from Farm to Plate benefit Sustainable Food Center and our programs that support our local, sustainable food system and increase access to healthy, affordable food for everyone in Central Texas.
Blues On The Green
Pack a blanket and the family and make your way to Zilker Park for this summertime tradition. Held monthly from May to August, Austin’s largest free concert series will welcome performances by top local bands.
